International Beer Day 2026

Celebrating Worldwide August 7th

It’s no secret that I love beer, especially a great craft beer. I am forever in search of a great local beer to call my latest favorite.

In fact, I enjoy great beer so much that I studied it for my Cicerone status back when I created the Nevada BeerQuest website, printed a newspaper a few years ago, and served as the Vice President of SNAFU (Southern Nevada Ale Fermenters Union) for a while. During that period, I also enjoyed doing some home brewing of my own, and sharing the results with fellow beer enthusiasts, one bottle at a time.

I also had the pleasure of connecting with writer Bob Barnes, who contributes a monthly post titled Las Vegas Brewing News (click here for all Bob’s beer posts).

This year, International Beer Day 2026 is celebrated on Friday, August 7, 2026. It is a global event dedicated to gathering with friends, enjoying delicious brews, and thanking the people who brew and serve them.

You can also celebrate by catching up on past brewing articles (scroll below).
