As most of my regular readers know, I have a deep and abiding love for the vibrant airbrush community and the incredible art produced by this talented group of dedicated and passionate artists. My journey with the airbrush began in 1976, a year that marked the start of an exhilarating creative journey, and I was immediately captivated by its potential. When I first held the airbrush, I felt a surge of inspiration that has only grown over the years. I still enjoy the intricate process of airbrushing and am continually amazed by those who skillfully wield this extraordinary tool. The airbrush is not just a device; it is a remarkable instrument for artistic expression. It allows artists to explore their creativity dynamically and with versatility, creating stunning works that resonate with audiences.
Since first discovering the airbrush, I have explored various art creations, including vibrant automotive art, extraordinary epic murals, and captivating fine art. One piece in particular that holds a special place in my heart and for which I am immensely proud is an artwork I created for Iwata-Medea in 1993. This original piece, Ms. Medea (80″ x 216″), was initially created in my Hollywood Video studio as a striking trade show display to showcase Iwata airbrushes. Over the years, it has not only captured the attention of many but has also been proudly displayed at the Iwata headquarters, serving as a testament to the artistry and creativity that can emerge from the world of airbrushing. My passion for this medium inspires new projects and artistic endeavors every day.
