Gateway to All Things Corvette

National Corvette Museum Entrance

Showcasing 70 Years of American's Iconic Sports Car

National Corvette Museum official logoRecently, I had the pleasure of visiting the NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM, so lately, the big questions I get asked are “What is the Museum like?” and “What did I like most about my trip?

My first response is that “The museum is huge!” — bigger than I expected. If you’re a Corvette enthusiast like me, there is so much to see that you’ll want to plan at least a full day, and more if you can. The video below shows an overall speed-tour of the museum (from the Corvette Museum YouTube Channel), but take note that the video is three years old so some of the exhibits have changed a bit since they posted it. Here is a recent post with some pictures I shot in mid-March, 2024.

Conveniently located in Bowling Green, Kentucky at I-65 Exit 28, the Museum offers the history of the iconic sports cars, interactive displays, a racing simulator and even the chance to get behind the wheel of one. Q2?

In answer to the second question, What did I like most about my trip?”, my answer so many things, but my LUSTER-filled evening, unveiling my paintings and the cars. I love Corvettes. I always have. I drove one for a few years several years ago and it is still my most-missed car ever. Visiting the Corvette museum brought back some great memories and reignited my passion for these iconic cars more than ever.

Creating my MOMENTUM Corvette diptych for the LUSTER Exhibition at the Corvette Museum deepened my love and appreciation for these cars even more, and its an honor to participate in their story.

The Museum has been on my list of places to visit for a long time and I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Bowling Green. As a side-note, my painting will be on exhibit with the LUSTER EXhibition through January 5, 2025.

The National Corvette Museum is in the running for “Best Attraction for Car Lovers” for @USATODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards 2024! Vote to help us secure this title and continue to share our passion for the iconic #Corvette.
