James Dean and Filmstrip

1990, airbrushed acrylic on wall, approx. 3-1/2 ft. tall x 4 ft.

This original mural was painted on location at a few Hollywood Video stores. The hand-painted film strip wrapped the entire store over the video racks. It featured multiple mini-murals throughout, including this James’s Dean portrait, which I painted a half-dozen times in the Oregon and Washington locations.
