Patriotism and desert skies shone bright for the American Legion Apache Post 27 Car, Truck & Bike Trophy Show. Several dozen beautiful rides on display, including classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, street rods, sports cars, cool trucks, custom motorcycles of every variety, and even a cool Freightliner semi.

The weather was perfect, as sports cars, muscle cars, and amazing pickups filled the parking lot at the Heritage Academy at 32 S Center St, Mesa, AZ, United States, 85210. Today I enjoyed the 5th Annual Heritage Academy Car Show & Concert. Along with Trophies, Food Trucks, Vendors, and Raffles, they featured three hours of live entertainment presented by their amazingly talented music students. There were 100 places to park incredible cars at the Mountain Bridge Car Show, where owners showed off their incredible rides in the grassy-green Owners’ Club Park. Driver check-in began at 9 a.m., and the show started at 10 a.m., which ran until 1 p.m. I got there just after 9 and stayed the entire time, even catching a few great shots of cars rolling out after a great day of sunshine and car camaraderie.

It was a fantastic morning for Wheels & Wags, a fun, family-friendly community event bringing together pets, people, and cars for an unforgettable day in Tempe — all for a great cause!

Car shows abound in the Phoenix/Mesa Valley. From classic hot rods to modern muscle cars, sports cars, custom trucks, and rat rods, the variety is a feast for the eyes and a thrill for automotive enthusiasts. Most car shows here are morning events, but there is no shortage of afternoon and evening events. With yesterday’s afternoon temps hovering around 80 degrees (+/-), car show guys could hardly resist seeing their chrome colors change as time slowly passed with kindred souls.

What a wonderful day it turned out to be in Queen Valley, Arizona, as we celebrated the Fire Auxiliary’s Tenth Annual Car, Truck & Bike Show. Despite the weather forecast, the sun shone brightly, and the sound of powerful revving engines filled the air. This exciting event, open to all years, makes, and models of vehicles, drew an impressive, enthusiastic turnout from locals and visitors alike.

What a great way to explore airplanes and discover all there is to offer at the Chandler Municipal Airport for the return of its community open house, Airport Day. This annual event not only showcases the latest in aviation technology but also celebrates the rich history of flight in our community. As an airplane fan, I couldn’t resist the chance to check out a variety of aviation beauties.
