Corvette Nirvana at Handlebar

Apache Junction, AZ • April 4, 2026

Arizona is Corvette Country. I don’t say that lightly, especially today, following my earlier post about the Highline Autos Cars & Coffee at High Street, which featured countless stunning examples of America’s Sports Car, poised alongside dozens of supercars and exotics.

After heading back to the east side of the valley, I made my way to one of my favorite music and dining venues in Apache Junction, The Handlebar Pub & Grill, where I heard the evening before that there would be a gathering of local Corvette owners displaying their cars.

It’s no secret that I love Corvettes! Over the years, I’ve posted miles of Corvette pics, and even had the honor of displaying my artwork, MOMENTUM, at the National Corvette Museum. (click here for my Corvette art timeline)

So, with my camera in hand, I set out to take some fantastic shots of my favorite sports cars. All in all, there was an impressive collection of 13 colorful cars, mostly C8S (including a beautiful and rare blue eRay), along with a couple of C7S and 6-series Corvettes.

It’s nearly impossible to take a bad shot of these stunning beasts, each more amazingly photogenic than the last. I, of course, have my favorites, but even then, with a selection of a dozen, I would have a hard time picking.

In the end, this was a nice turnout, and I hope that the Handlebar does this again. It’s a great excuse to stop in for a great craft beer and talk cars with local Corvette enthusiasts.
