The LUSTER: Realism and Hyperrealism in Contemporary Automobile and Motorcycle Paintings exhibit opened its doors in Las Cruces, New Mexico, at the Museum of Art yesterday. This highly anticipated showcase will run impressively through August 16th, 2025, allowing art enthusiasts and the general public ample time to experience the intricate and striking depictions of vehicles within the realms of both realism and hyperrealism.

This national touring exhibition showcases more than 55 paintings by nearly 15 of today’s leading realist and hyperrealist artists, renowned for their striking portrayals of vintage classics, up to contemporary automobiles and motorcycles. Artists Reception with featured artists: June 6, from 5 – 7 p.m.
LUSTER arrived in culturally rich Lake Charles, Louisiana. LUSTER is an exhibit dedicated to the raw beauty of cars and motorcycles, captured in extraordinary detail. This art collection focuses on the things we admire, showcasing the lines, textures, and craftsmanship that make these machines timeless. Each piece invites you to appreciate the engineering and design in a way that’s as real as it gets.
With 2024 at a close, the LUSTER Art Exhibition showcasing realism and hyperrealism in contemporary automobile and motorcycle paintings featuring fifteen artists and sixty artworks, which opened on March 15th, 2024, has ended at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, this past Sunday, January 5th. As the Corvette Museum packs up the exhibit and its accompanying artworks, I am excited to share that the LUSTER Exhibit will travel to two well-known museums this year.
Myself, 14 other artists, 60+ paintings intermingled with these beautiful cars will be set up and on display through the end of the year. Come on down to the National Corvette Museum. The exhibit is now upon. It’s an awesome show, so come down and check it out.
The NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM shared some fantastic pictures of their new gallery, which showcases the LUSTER exhibit, and I could not resist sharing them with you. Beautifully shot just before the gala and exhibit premier, these pictures celebrate the beautiful art and cars adoring the museum through 2024.
For 2024, the exhibit opens at the National Corvette Museum to the public on March 15 and will remain there through the end of the year. MOMENTUM, created special for exhibit features two epic paintings, CREATION and EVOLUTION, celebrating Corvette’s 70th anniversary as America’s Sports Car.
If you’ve been following my posts for a while, you probably already know that I’ve been buried in the studio working on my two Corvette paintings for the upcoming LUSTER Exhibition at the National Corvette Museum. This morning, the unwrapping revealed my two paintings for the first time, all unwrapped and ready for final details.
Mark your calendar. The date is confirmed for the official LUSTER Art Exhibition launch at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to unveil my two supersized artworks celebrating Corvette’s 70th anniversary as America’s Sports Car.
