Best of Arizona Cars and Coffee

Proudly Supporting Hope Kids

2026 Best of Arizona Cars & Coffee proudly hosted HopeKids, supporting children with life-threatening medical conditions and their families. They were on site with an informational booth and vehicle display space to share their mission and connect with the community. Two Curated Car Show Sessions. One Epic Day.

This was my first visit to FOUNTAIN HILLS, Arizona, and it made a huge impression! The community is stunning, and complemented by an impressive collection of eclectic cars, trucks, and custom builds, which sweetens the day even more.

The weather was overcast and windy, but that didn’t deter this crowd. While I didn’t get a count, there was no shortage of stunning cars to photograph. And the overcast was perfect for car shots, acting as a big photography softbox in the sky, softening those beautiful curves.

While it was my first time at this car show, the 2026 Best of Arizona Cars and Coffee returned to Fountain Park with an expanded Double Header formattwo curated sessions in one day—set against one of the most scenic automotive backdrops in the state.

The first session started at 9 AM, and I was ready, camera in hand. While searching for a parking spot, we saw enough amazing cars to be a show in itself. Even though we got there early, the closest parking space we could find was still a stroll from the show itself. So, as you’d expect, I snapped off a few great car pics and park shots while getting in some steps toward the crowd and cars.

The event not only engaged car enthusiasts but also served as a family-friendly outing for those wanting to immerse themselves in the vibrant automotive culture. The event featured an impressive array of vehicles from local enthusiasts and collectors, showcasing the incredible passion and dedication found within the Arizona automotive community.

The Best Of...

There is a great emphasis on showcasing the craftsmanship and attention to detail that many of these vehicles possess. Whether old-school hot rod, muscle car, or hypercar, they are a part of the highest level of art, and they inspire my automotive art.

With lake and mountain views, an open grassy layout, and easy access, the Great Lawn offered a true “car show meets park” atmosphere, with a Concours-level feel and Cars & Coffee energy. And for added fun, there are a few sculptures along the walkway. Last but not least, there is a fountain in the center of the lake that shoots a water burst every 15 minutes at the top of the hour from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Organized by Arizona Cars and Coffee and presented by Fueled by Cars & Coffee and JR Garage, the event brought together Arizona’s leading Cars and Coffee organizers, car clubs, and standout individual vehicles for a highly curated automotive experience.

Participants included not only seasoned collectors but also newcomers eager to learn more about the automobile world. Spectators were treated to stunning examples of automotive craftsmanship, highlighting innovation and artistry that define modern car culture. This ensured that each vehicle brought its own unique story and representation of the diverse car enthusiast community in Arizona.

We saw an assortment spanning supercars, exotics, muscle cars, classics, off-road builds, EVs, Japan imports, restomods, and custom showstoppers—all intentionally selected to represent the best of Arizona’s car culture. While it’s always hard for me to pick a personal favorite from the amazingly huge selection, there were a few that I easily see myself driving. These shows are like candy stores. With so many sweet cars and amazing paint jobs, it feels like candy, eye candy :-)

This competitive atmosphere encouraged owners to present their vehicles in the best light possible, showcasing their hard work and creativity.

The Afternoon Session featured a judged car show recognizing standout vehicles across multiple categories, including Best of Show, Best American, Best European, Best Asian, Best Electric, Best Modified, Craziest Build (presented by Crazy Jacket Car Guy), and Best Car Club Display — trophies designed and created by Metal Artist Alex Wood (visit him online at ArtofCombustion.com).

In addition to the awards, onlookers had ample opportunities to interact with fellow car lovers, fostering a sense of community among attendees. The lively atmosphere was further enhanced by mingling with local automotive influencers who shared insights and stories about their cars.

Food and beverage vendors were on site to complete the experience, including specialty coffee, curated food such as BONAFIDE BEEF (we enjoyed an amazing burger and fries), and clean energy beverages. With options ranging from locally roasted beans to gourmet food trucks, attendees were treated to a delightful culinary experience that complemented the event’s automotive showcase. With such a rich blend of options, visitors could sip on artisanal coffee while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow car aficionados, making for a perfect day out.

This blend of sights, sounds, and flavors truly created an unforgettable experience. Overall, the 2026 Best of Arizona Cars and Coffee event solidified its reputation as a must-attend gathering for automotive enthusiasts of all kinds. In short, this show rocks! I’m already looking forward to next year.

A PERSONAL FAVORITE

Lyn Adams and her ‘64 Corvette GS Tribute Roadster

One of my most favorites cars was the 1964 Corvette Grand Sport. Ultra clean and super cool. America's Sports Car in all her glory!

DOUBLE HEADER DREAMS

While putting this post together, I tripped across the official music track for the car show, appropriately titled “DOUBLE HEADER DREAMS” by David Warren. Enjoy.

Double Header Dreams | Official Event Track
Artist: David Warren
Event: Best of Arizona Cars and Coffee

The official anthem of Arizona car culture is here. Inspired by the raw energy of the track and the precision of high-performance builds, “Double Header Dreams” captures the spirit of the Southwest’s premier automotive gathering.

Listen for the distinct roar of the built V8 and the high-performance whine of straight-cut gears—the true soundtrack of the Great Lawn at Fountain Park.
