This month spotlights HUDL Brewing’s Taproom and their strategic partnership with Neon Desert Brewing, Main Street Taproom, Beer Events in Las Vegas, Brewer Matt and more from Bob Barnes.

It’s that time of year again, a moment filled with anticipation and profound introspection. For me, this period is not just a simple transition; it represents an invaluable opportunity to take a deep dive into my thoughts and goals, reflecting on the rich tapestry of experiences and invaluable lessons learned throughout the past year. As I look ahead, I do so with a sense of hope and excitement, eager to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead in the coming months. This is a time to embrace the possibilities and to harness the optimism that fuels my ambitions.

It’s truly incredible to think that Christmas is already upon us once again. The air is filled with the scent of freshly baked cookies and the sound of carols playing in the background. Okay, that’s not happening where I am, but it is festive. And I like festive, because festive is creative, and creative is fun.

Twas the night before Christmas and the house was a mess,
Our Christmas Eve party had been a roaring success.
Voices still echoed with laughter and cheer,
And the eggnog kept flowing like holiday beer.

Just days before Christmas, it’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate not only the shortest day and longest night of the year but also to take a moment to reflect deeply on my journey as both a human being and an artist. This time of year, filled with stillness and introspection, inspires me to look back on my experiences, lessons learned, and the personal growth I have experienced over the years.

A New Way to Lead in a Chaotic World
Say the phrase First Responder and you feel something. Urgency. Purpose. Courage. Presence. You picture someone who runs toward the situation, not away from it. What if leadership worked the same way?

Regular readers of my posts know of my passion for cars and most anything with wheels, especially if it’s fast. Over the years, I have created several automotive artworks celebrating cars. From racing enthusiasts to fellow artists, my collectors and audience often share the same adrenaline-fueled excitement about high-performance vehicles. Since the inception of the Wings and Wheels Foundation, aka TeamWWF, I have created and managed their website and collateral design and served as the team’s Marketing and Brand Director. It has been a rewarding experience to contribute my skills to a cause that promotes not only racing but also camaraderie among its members.

Well, it’s been quite some time since I last posted about a car show, but today felt like the perfect opportunity to get out and reconnect with the local car community that I’ve missed so much. It’s incredible how these events bring together enthusiasts from all walks of life, and I was eager to immerse myself in that vibrant atmosphere again.

It seems like only yesterday that I created my Corvette artwork, MOMENTUM, celebrating America’s Sports Car, through two exclusive original artworks prominently displayed at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, from March 2024 through November 2025.

As mentioned in my Las Vegas Brewing News December column, HUDL Brewing will be closing its doors later this month. The following is a heartfelt message to me (Bob Barnes) from HUDL Co-Owners Skip Norfolk and Lisa Hamilton about what led to their brewery’s closure, posted with their permission.

By now, we can all see how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming many aspects of our lives, from how we work to how we interact with technology and others in our daily routines. From automating mundane tasks to offering advanced data analysis, AI is enabling individuals and organizations to focus on more strategic and creative endeavors. However, amid these advancements, there are growing concerns that AI may negatively impact human creativity and originality in the future as it increasingly takes over tasks that require innovative thinking and artistic expression.

This month spotlights Nevada Breweries Mission Control, the Brew Festivus Beer Fest, the Crab Corner Boots & Brews Beer & Spirits Festival, BJ’s Brewhouse, Big Dog’s Brewing, North 5th Fourth Anniversary, Juan’s Flaming Fajitas, Neon Desert Brewery, and more.
