CARS & CAFFEINE, TRACKSIDE!
OCTOBER 18, 2026 — It was a beautiful day for a car show — especially one as epic as a racetrack filled with miles of sports cars, tuners, and an eclectic mix of rides spanning a hundred years of automotive excellence.
I’ve looked forward to this show since I first heard about the Radford Racing School last year, and I’ve been curious ever since. The Radford Racing School offers professional instruction for high-performance driving and racing for drivers of all ages and skill levels, from novice to advanced. As I work more with the Wings and Wheels Foundation, I’m increasingly drawn to exploring more race venues in my ongoing quest to learn more about the fascinating world of competitive racing. As my regular readers know, I am a huge fan of car shows. [Click here to see my previous car show posts]
I was so ready for this car show that we got there super early—before even most of the featured cars arrived. As we waited for our turn to enter the parking area, it was already a car show of beautiful cars, all lined up and ready for a great morning.
After parking, we set out to stroll the track where the cars were perfectly aligned and waiting for their respective photo ops. We got our steps in this morning as cars drew our attention along the 1.6-mile track with 15 turns against the breathtaking backdrop of amazing clouds and the desert skyline. As always, I brought my camera and was ready to get some great pics. While I didn’t do an actual car count, there were over a couple hundred stunning vehicles on display, and I posted nearly 150 here (see below).
It was great seeing James and Sofia from Deluxe Car Club, who were there promoting their Deluxe Car Club Luxury Park & Chill events. (Click here for my post and pics from May 3, 2026)
All in all, this was a rockin’ car show, featuring miles of sports cars, racers, and tuners, mixed with a few classics. And as hoped, there were plenty of Corvettes and colorful eye candy of most every variety.
Special thanks to Radford Racing School. Visit them online at RadfordRacingSchool.com or at 20000 S. Maricopa Rd. Gate #3, Chandler, AZ 85226.
I’m already looking forward to learning more about the track and their ongoing events. Meanwhile, scroll through my dozens of great pics from this morning’s show below.
