This is a truly special day for me, as I joyfully celebrate the remarkable milestone of reaching 800 posts on this website. Throughout my online archived journey, I’ve shared my observations, personal reflections, and captivating stories that encompass not only my art (and others’ art) but also my love of cars, life experiences, unique encounters, and fascinating creative energy exchanges.

The Eastside Road Runners hold a Saturday afternoon car show in Apache Junction that features an impressive variety of hot rods, custom cars, and an eclectic mix of music. The event, which is carefully organized and widely publicized, often takes place in collaboration with local businesses, such as Fresh Press Burger, creating a vibrant and casual meet-up for car enthusiasts and families alike in the East Valley.

It’s a given that some bike rides are harder than others. But when a familiar ride suddenly feels like a grind, the cause may not be what you think. Same bike. Same route. Same rider. On a ride a short while ago, every mile felt heavy. No steep hills. No headwind. Still, my legs burned early, and the joy drained out of what should have been an easy ride. So, I did what most riders do when pedaling gets hard. I changed gears. And changed them again. When that didn’t work, I began troubleshooting the rider. Maybe I was out of shape. Maybe I was getting older. Maybe I just needed more grit.

There were 100 places to park incredible cars at the Mountain Bridge Car Show, where owners showed off their incredible rides in the grassy-green Owners’ Club Park. Driver check-in began at 9 a.m., and the show started at 10 a.m., which ran until 1 p.m. I got there just after 9 and stayed the entire time, even catching a few great shots of cars rolling out after a great day of sunshine and car camaraderie.

JO is an amalgamation, a fusion, a blend of the talents of Oscar Martinez and Jerry Blank. Like Rodgers, who composed the music and Hammerstein, who wrote the lyrics. Martinez and Blank fuse their talents to create a new creative force called JO.

It was a fantastic morning for Wheels & Wags, a fun, family-friendly community event bringing together pets, people, and cars for an unforgettable day in Tempe — all for a great cause!

Car shows abound in the Phoenix/Mesa Valley. From classic hot rods to modern muscle cars, sports cars, custom trucks, and rat rods, the variety is a feast for the eyes and a thrill for automotive enthusiasts. Most car shows here are morning events, but there is no shortage of afternoon and evening events. With yesterday’s afternoon temps hovering around 80 degrees (+/-), car show guys could hardly resist seeing their chrome colors change as time slowly passed with kindred souls.

Cars, trucks, and amazingly unique custom rods filled the expansive lot today at American Furniture Warehouse, which is conveniently located at 4700 S Power Road in the vibrant city of Gilbert, Arizona. Enthusiasts and families alike gathered to admire the diverse array of vehicles, showcasing a true passion for automotive excellence and craftsmanship.

At work, at home, and online, it’s almost impossible to avoid the word change. Everything is shifting and changing faster, more often, and with less margin for error. Change is no longer an occasional disruption. It’s the environment. And yet
