15 Artists • 60 Original Artworks • 20 Museums Over 7-1/2 Years
As the saying goes, all beautiful things come to an end. After seven-and-a-half years and twenty major museums, the LUSTER: Realism and Hyperrealism in Contemporary Automobile and Motorcycle Paintings exhibition has come to an end.
Since LUSTER’s initial showing at Daytona Beach to its final appearance at Las Cruces, I have been honored to showcase a selection of my epic motorcycle and automotive artworks across America.
Over the course of LUSTER’s journey, a few of my favorite pieces have been featured, including INDIAN SUMMER, DREAM 103, AMERICA, and MOMENTUM, and my latest painting, CONTINENTAL, made a brief appearance at the Las Cruces Museum.
LUSTER: Realism and Hyperrealism in Contemporary Automobile and Motorcycle Painting features a selection of dazzling paintings of vehicles from the birth of the automobile and motorcycle to the present. As such, LUSTER is a celebration of automotive design and style, as well as the virtuosity of contemporary artists.
Throughout the incredible journey of the tour, it has been a true honor and a privilege to exhibit alongside an impressive and diverse group of exceptionally talented artists. Some of these artists I’ve been fortunate enough to come to know as dear friends, and I consider them kindred spirits who share my passion and dedication in our pursuit of realism. Each artist brings their unique vision and creativity to the canvas, and I have cultivated a deep respect for each of their respective talents and contributions to the art world. Together, we have created a vibrant community that celebrates the beauty and complexity of our craft.
