I’m both excited and honored to share my art at William Carr Gallery at his all-new Town Square location at the South end of the Las Vegas Strip.

During my Hollywood Video years, one of my favorite subjects to paint was Elvis. I painted several large Elvis murals in the Hollywood Video stores, mostly throughout the Northwest – Portland, and Seattle. Few still exist.
If you like art like I like art, The West Coast Art & Frame Expo Trade Show & National Conference in Las Vegas was the place to be this January 24 – 27.

It was an eventful year for sure. And a good year, too. All-in-all though, I’m especially excited for the forthcoming year. 2016 is going to be amazing. But, before I get ahead of myself, I need to wrap up my semi-annual quasi-year-end summary blog.
New Year’s Eve 2015, Artists Beti Kristof and A.D. Cook painted Gail, from the shoulders up, in celebration of the healing power of art and the new year.
“YOUNG ASPIRING ARTIST.” It makes me smile, really. I like YOUNG. I like “ASPIRING.” I like “ARTIST.” No, wait… cross out “ARTIST” and replace it with just about anything else,
Christmas with the King? The King of Rock and Roll, perhaps. Well, sort of. Steve Connolly as Elvis is the “Spirit of the King.”
MONDAYS DARK celebrates comedy, dancing, singers, magic, and talent galore mixed with a lot of laughs and great friends, all in support of local charities. Mondays Dark is Vegas’ night to give back.
Like previous years, I enjoyed most of my time at the Motor Trend Auto Show hanging with the beautiful ladies. Yes, I’m talking about the Lamborghini “ladies” – of the Aventador and Huracan variety. And of all those feisty ladies, these are among my favorites. Of course, what I refer to as the ladies, most simply call the BULLS. Semantics, I say.
Art Workshops… Painting, Drawing, Color (lots of colors) — we’re going to have fun this holiday season. I’ve teamed up with talented artist extraordinaire Beti Kristof and Las Vegas’ best art supply stores, Desert Art Supply, to bring you three exciting art workshops in December.
