This past Saturday, Downtown Las Vegas hosted the 2014 Great Vegas Festival of Beer. For a few great hours, the parking lot just across the street from Container Park became the biggest beer party in Vegas (and Vegas hosts some big parties).
Join me at BMW Motorcycles of Las Vegas for their annual Spring Open House to celebrate the new 2014 model lineup and meet special guest five-time land speed record holder Valerie Thompson.
Once again, Arizona Bike Week rocked the southwest in the true spirit and style of riders and enthusiasts alike. This past couple of weeks, BIKE WEEK celebrated its 18th year of motorcycles and the lifestyle around the biker’s passion and culture.
The LIFE CUBE is about connecting art and community in downtown Las Vegas and around the world. It’s pretty cool, really. A walk-thru, interactive experience, with murals from local artists, writing boards, and dramatic lighting at night. Artists have been working on the CUBE for the last month or so. I’ve seen it a couple of times as it’s progressed and chatted with artists who’ve painted on it.
Saturday evening, Genevieve Dew, the lady with the golden pipes, performed her tribute show to legendary Billie Holiday at the Santa Fe Stations Hotel and Casino ~ Chrome Ballroom, Las Vegas, NV. This lady sings the blues. She’s really more than that. Her Billie Holiday tribute show is awesome. I know Genevieve a little and have heard her perform at other venues, but this one was special.
Take a great evening, fantastic cigars, live music, and a beautiful body-painted model; you have the ingredients for an awesome time in Vegas. Friday was En Fuego Cigar & Lounge’s Second Anniversary Party, and it was a blast!
Leave it to the crew at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson to create a fun-filled family event. Celebrity Illusionist Seth Grabel put on a great show for an awesome crowd, amazing everyone with his appearing Harley illusion, along with card tricks and his impressive ability to get out of a straight jacket.
For those who might think I don’t know Jack, I’m here to tell you otherwise. In fact, after yesterday’s WhiskeyFest Tasting Experience at the Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas, I not only know Mr. Daniels but a few of his friends as well.
The best Super Bowl party ever. Not to discount previous Super Bowl parties because they’re all great in their own way, but this one was different. Mostly, in the past, I’ve gone to friends’ homes for Super Bowl parties. I always enjoy those. I’m sure you do, too… hanging with friends, meeting new people, and catching up. Although, in reality, a lot of times, they’re more party than a game. Good times, though – all of them.
The Jennifer McCarty Art Show – “An Aries Artist” was her 1st Solo Show, but you wouldn’t know it by the crowd. She showed 61 original pieces and had a great turnout of friends and fans.
Fleetwood Mac still rocks! The Monster Products 2014 Retailer Awards honored their most monstrous retailers of 2013 with an evening of great rock ‘n roll, hosted at the Paris Ballroom at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.
What do you get when you mix Ultimate fighters, the beautiful Octagon girls, and Monster headphones? A Monster party in Vegas!
