The Las Vegas Corvette Association recently marked a major milestone as it commemorated fifty years of existence. In what turned out to be a truly remarkable showcase, the association exhibited a wide range of sixty (give or take a few) Corvettes that spanned seven decades of America’s Sports Car’s illustrious existence.

Tomorrow, Las Vegas Corvettes Association Presents their All Corvette Show in Celebration of their 50th Anniversary

It was a fantastic morning for this week’s Celebrity Cars & Coffee. The fresh air, clear skies, and perfect temperature inspired me to include the car show in my sunrise walk, so I got there earlier than my previous visits and hung out for about an hour so, taking in all the incredible cars of every variety.

Despite the grey skies and occasional sprinkles, there was a nice turnout of cars and enthusiasts for this week’s Celebrity Cars & Coffee.

I recently stopped by Count’s Kustoms in Las Vegas to deliver my artwork, ETERNAL, to Horny Mike for its final clear coat and polish. Very soon, my lifesize metal artwork will be off to her collector on the East Coast.

I could hardly imagine a better way to start the day. Today my fabulous Corvette owners and I created an epic morning by uniting one of America’s first Corvettes with its most Current C8 Z06 for a photo shoot in Las Vegas.

This is where I go when I want to get inspired and connect with the local car community. The Las Vegas Cars & Coffee is a booming gathering of enthusiastic car folks, easy to get to, and boasts hundreds of stunning cars weekly, including some amazing Corvettes.

Do you remember where you were 45 years ago today? I do. I was a young teenager working as a carry-out boy at a local Thriftway grocery store in Oregon City, Oregon, on August 16, 1977, That was the day Elvis Presley died and I remember it like it was yesterday.
